- I don't have a decibel meter, but I can tell you two things: 1) dB is measured at various distances. Most speakers are measured at loudness @ 5m (roughly 16ft). 2) I can tell you that at the loudest "clear" volume (about 90% or so before the distortion sets in), at that distance, you're not going to be having conversations with anyone. It's obnoxiously loud within 25 feet. I don't think I've ever used it for any length of time over 40% volume.answered on 2020-08-08 00:00:00
